As a therapist I am coach, cheerleader, and facilitator for your self-exploration. I am trained in Transactional Analysis, Tomkins' theory of the emotions, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and the Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy, as well as the treatment of dissociative disorders. This allows me to provide you with a flexible set of tools for change
I have worked with clients of all ages and genders, from a variety of ethnic groups, religious backgrounds and sexual preferences, and have special experience with adults abused as children. I have lived in Taiwan and Malaysia and have a basic knowledge of Mandarin Chinese. I summarize the intent of my work with clients as "Healing the Past, Living the Present, and Creating the Future".
