As a therapist I am coach, cheerleader, and facilitator for your self-exploration. I am trained in Transactional Analysis, Tomkins' theory of the emotions, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and the Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy, as well as the treatment of dissociative disorders. I have worked with clients of all ages and genders, from a variety of ethnic groups, religious backgrounds and sexual preferences, and have special experience with adults abused as children. I have lived in Taiwan and Malaysia and have a basic knowledge of Mandarin Chinese. I summarize the intent of my work with clients as "Healing the Past, Living the Present, and Creating the Future".
