Transactional Analysis is a rational and easy-to-understand method of clarifying and managing human relationships and behaviors. The concepts developed by Eric Berne, M.D. in the 50s and 60s have continued to be expanded by Transactional Analysts throughout the world.. This course can be beneficial to mental health professionals, parents, educators, clergy, physicians, people in managerial positions and the legal profession, and anyone interested in relating more effectively with self and with others. This course can serve as an introduction to Transactional Analysis or as a refresher for those already familiar with the theory and applications.
This course is a prerequisite for advanced Transactional Analysis training, . Completion of this course fulfills the requirements for becoming a regular voting member of the International Transactional Analysis Association.
This course has been approved for twelve hours of continuing education credit by the Texas Board of Examiners of Licensed Professional Counselors and Social Workers and the Texas Board of Examiners of Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists. ceu’s also available for Psychologists.. CEU credit also available for professionals from other states though the USATAA.

Presenter: Felipe Garcia, M.A. is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas. He has been in private practice in San Antonio for 30 years. He is a Clinical Teaching and Supervising Member of the International Transactional Analysis Association and a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and a Diplomat of the Redecison Therapy Association. Mr. Garcia has worked with couples and families and trained executives, managers and other personnel in both the private and public sectors in the US, Europe, Latin America and Asia. He has published several articles on communication and cooperation, including “The Role of Feelings in the Workplace” and “Winning Together”. He is founder and past General Coordinator of the United States of America Transactional Analysis Association and has served on the board of trustees of the International Transactional Analysis Association.
