TA Certification and Professional Affiliation or Degree
I am a Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst (TSTA) member of the International Transactional Analysis Association (ITAA). Earning that certification in 1980 I went on to complete my Ph.D. with a research dissertation in Ego Functioning. Now, also, I am a Transactional Analysis Practitioner Instructor (TAPI) in USATAA..
USATAA Membership and Function
After 25 years work as a psychotherapist and coach, I joined the Center for Creative Leadership where I served as a Senior Faculty, designing and delivering experiential training to over 4,000 leaders and managers, as well as serving in several management roles, conducting research, and publishing. Upon retirement I was honored as a Senior Fellow. I still contribute to the Center's valuable work when opportunities arise.
Type of Work
I now focus on teaching and coaching people on how to apply TA theory and methods in education, psychotherapy and counseling, coaching, and organizations and leadership, and life skills. That training meets the requirements for all three levels of USATAA Transactional Analysis Practitioner certification.
